There are many promising areas for Japanese growth. In the area of industrial technology, considerable attention is already being given to medicine, natural energy, energy conservation, and other technologies. The LED and condenser industries are also maintaining their positions at the highest levels of global technology.
In non-industrial areas as well, Japan’s transport system and the service industry with its catchword omotenashi are attracting attention. Further, in the agricultural sector, which was always considered weak in the past, good-tasting and safe products are being produced using unique techniques and exported abroad.
